Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Kalia Brown: Girls Volleyball
Kalia attacked at a hitting percentage of .800% with three solo blocks against our only opponent last week, Little Miami. Kalia is only a sophomore and transitioned from right side to the middle halfway through our season, but is continuing to improve tremendously as our middle blocker.
Neve Kossmeyer: Girls Water Polo
Neve has been a true game changer for our team! As a lefty sniper, she had some killer shots over the weekend and continues to make a huge impact on the offensive end. She has been leading our team in 6v5 goals and is showing just how valuable she is in those big moments.
Jocelyn Mefford: Girls Soccer
Jocelyn, our team captain, has been one of our most consistent players throughout this season. Her senior leadership in our back line has helped lead us to eight shutouts this season and an ECC Championship. She is reliable, knowledgeable, and leads by example. We are thankful for her!
Lucy Noeth: Girls Cross Country
Lucy capped off an impressive freshman season on Thursday at the JV District Meet. Her consistency and hard work allowed her to improve throughout the season and finish as the team's top freshman.
Garrett Sattler: Boys Cross Country
Garrett had a fantastic race at the Southwest Ohio District Open, placing first for his team and setting a lifetime PR in the process. Garrett has committed to the work, put the team first, and been a rock all season for his teammates. His hard work, selflessness, and consistently positive attitude have been integral to the success of the program!
Aiden Wehrum: Football
Aiden completed a breakout sophomore season with another big performance against Turpin. For the night, he finished with his first career 100-yard rushing performance, gaining 106 yards, while narrowly missing his fifth 300-yard passing game. He ended up with 299 yards on the night, while throwing his 28th touchdown of the year.
